Master of Social Work

Therapy embodies a delicate balance: it's supportive yet challenging, welcoming yet daring. It's a collaborative journey where two individuals embark on a mutual exploration of the self.

Dedicated to guiding you towards self-discovery and personal growth, my approach integrates mindfulness techniques, trauma-informed practices, and strategies for emotional regulation. Drawing from a rich background in community and clinical social work, along with extensive psychiatric expertise, I am committed to assisting individuals on their path to wellness.

Therapy is a rigorous process, demanding resilience and openness. My practice prioritizes continual learning and emotional navigation. I provide a safe and nurturing environment, where vulnerability is celebrated as a catalyst for profound transformation. Within this space, mutual respect, empathy, and connection flourish, fostering a journey of authentic exploration and growth.

Quinn Willson

Registered Social Worker & Accredited Family Mediator with Commitments

Member of the OTSTCFQ  & AMFQ

Quinn Willson obtained her BSW from McGill and is working towards her masters. Having practiced in the public, private and NPO, Quinn has experience working with individuals and couples. As a Registered Social Worker, she is an expert in interpersonal relationships from communication and conflict management, to social skills. Quinn is also an Accredited Family Mediator (with Engagements), helping separating couples divide assets and parental responsibilities.

Quinn has developed a passion around work-related issues (ex. burnout, work-life balance, job satisfaction, performance anxiety, and career reorientation) from her years at an employee assistance program. She explores clients’ emotional regulation skills and self-esteem to foster fulfillment in their social and professional lives.

Quinn highlights clients’ strengths, resources and inherent resilience. She’s direct but not directive. She guides clients’ introspection through pointed questions and observations. Her use of examples, imagery, anecdotes and exercises allow her to turn abstract themes into concrete actions, coalescing theory into practice.

Providing a supportive, non-judgmental and compassionate environment is the foundation of my work. I offer therapy sessions in-person and/or online, during weekdays and evenings, to students/millennials, individuals, couples and families. It takes courage to reach out for help. Know that this is a strength. Together, we can move through the things that are blocked, painful, or frustrating - in ways that offer healing, grace and great dignity.
